X-Rax Sport Rack
The X-Rax sport rack is a new style indoor rack for surfboards,
snowboards, wake
boards, and other
types of boards. It was conceived when its inventor, a surfer of 10 years, wanted to store his new board in a safe and secure manner. The inventor, Michael Davis, holds a degree in mechanical engineering and is currently studying in the graduate business program at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. He plans to market the product to the 50 plus surf shops in the central and south coast areas with additional markets to follow.

The Cover Caddie
The Cover Caddie is a motorized pool cover remover which every major swimming pool staff will envy. The way that pool cover removal works, without the Cover Caddie, is tedious, strenuous and frustrating. It consists of the early morning staff, removing up to ten 25 yard pool covers by hand-cranking a large reel. Eric Carver (Cal Poly Recreation Center Employee) opens the Rec. Center pool four mornings a week. Unprompted, he says, "I need it."
